Water: A Natural Resource

Poem by Nehchaldeep Kaur, 8th standard student (Woodstock Public School, Punjab)

Water is our life,
If we will not save it,
then we will not be alive.
People throw too much garbage in lakes, ponds, rivers and oceans.
It creates so much pollution.
If there will be pollution in water recourses
How aquatic animals will live there?
All we need is to care,
If aquatic animals will not be there,
no balance in nature will be maintained.
Water is present in rivers, ponds, lakes and oceans,
In humans, there will be dehydration.
So conserve water, conserve life.
If water will be not there,
we will not be alive.
