The Oma Kulam pond located in Madhavaram, north Chennai, measures a size of around 3.5 acres. குமாரசாமி குளம் (அ) முத்தண்ணன் குளம் என்று அழைக்கப்படும் இக்குளம், 8,9 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டில் சோழர்களால்கட்டப்பட்டது.
ஆனால் இன்று உபயோகிக்கும் நிலையில் இல்லை என்பதுகவலைக்கிடமான உண்மை.
